Go Digital Easthampton is a community-driven initiative dedicated to helping residents build the skills, confidence, and access they need to thrive in today's digital world. Through partnerships with the City of Easthampton, Easthampton Public Library, Easthampton Media, and other community organizations, we provide free digital literacy classes, technology support, and access to devices and internet resources.
Since launching, the program has offered more than 45 digital literacy classes and workshops, serving over 85 area residents. Many participants have continued their learning journey by taking multiple classes and developing new skills to help them stay connected, access essential services, pursue employment opportunities, and confidently navigate technology. Through three Learn to Earn cohorts, 24 participants successfully completed training and received Chromebook computers to support their continued learning and digital engagement.
Today, Go Digital Easthampton continues to evolve. Thanks to support from the Massachusetts Broadband Institute (MBI), we have expanded our services through a new Long-Term Device Lending Program, providing eligible residents with access to laptops for as long as they need them. Combined with ongoing tech support services, digital skills training, and community partnerships, this program helps ensure that technology remains accessible to everyone.
As technology continues to shape nearly every aspect of daily life, the need for digital skills and access has never been greater. We believe the future is bright. By continuing to expand opportunities for learning, support, and access, Go Digital Easthampton is helping build a more connected, informed, and digitally inclusive community for years to come.
