Go Digital Easthampton is excited to announce a new FREE long-term laptop lending program for Easthampton residents! Through a new grant from the Massachusetts Broadband Institute (MBI), community members can now apply to borrow brand-new laptops and Chromebooks for as long as needed.

This program is available both for people who currently do not have a device and for those whose existing computer is outdated or no longer meets their needs. Free tech support and digital literacy classes are also available to help users get connected and stay confident online.

Devices will begin becoming available starting May 27th.

Our final “Learn to Earn” cohort will be held the first three Mondays in March- 3/2, 3/9, 3/16.  The classes will be at the Library Annex building from 2:00 – 5:00 pm. The program consists of 9 hours of classroom and online learning. Upon completion of the program, participants will receive a new Chromebook computer.

This program is limited to 8 Easthampton residents, and only one person per household may receive a computer.

Registration will be open Feb. 13.
